1. Bridge Inspection Team Leaders (NY and NJ)

Immediate openings.  Candidate must have a valid P.E. registration in NY, NJ, or PA plus minimum three years of demonstrated experience in biennial or NBIS bridge inspection or sign structures inspection.  Prior inspection experience for State and local Transportation and Railroad agencies is a plus. Desirable experience include inspection projects for NYSDOT, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, TBTA, NJ Transit, Metro-North, LIRR, NYC Transit, DRPA, DRJTBC, etc.  Successful candidates should have through knowledge of structural engineering in steel and concrete structures and have keen eyes to detect structural defects in bridges and other structures.  Must have experience and physical ability to perform climbing, be organized with paperwork and meticulous in taking good field notes.

2. Assistant Team Leader / Structural Engineer with prior bridge inspection experience

We are currently looking for structural engineers for assistant team leader position for bridge and sign structures inspection projects in New Jersey and New York.  Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in engineering and prior bridge or sign structures inspection experience.  Inspection experience with State transportation agencies is a plus.  Experience with inspection of railroad bridge inspection is also a plus. Successful candidates should have good understanding of structural engineering in steel and concrete structures and have keen eyes to detect structural defects in bridges and other structures.  Must have experience and physical ability to perform climbing, be organized with paperwork and meticulous in taking good field notes.

3. Civil Engineer with site/civil engineering, and roadway design experience

We are currently looking for project managers, project engineers and senior engineers with strong skills in site development, roadway, ROW, drainage, utility and traffic engineering.  Project Managers must have a P.E. with 10+ years of experience. Project Engineers and Senior Engineers must have 3 to 5 years of experience. Must have experience in computer applications of engineering including working knowledge of using Intergraph Microstation and AutoCAD systems.  Prior experience in state/local agency projects is a plus.  

4. Structural Engineer with bridge/building design experience

We are currently looking for project managers, project engineers and senior engineers with strong skills in bridge design, building and facilities design and design of other infrastructure projects.  Project Managers must have a P.E. with 10+ years of experience. Project Engineers and Senior Engineers must have 3 to 5 years of experience. Must have experience in computer applications of engineering including working knowledge of using Intergraph Microstation and AutoCAD systems.  Prior experience in state/local agency projects is a plus.

5. Entry level structural design engineers for NYC Transit Capital Improvements projects

This is an excellent opportunity for entry level engineers to learn from highly qualified structural task leaders. Immediate openings are available for entry level structural engineers in New York City to work in large capital improvement projects for New York City Transit.  Must have a B.S. degree in civil engineering with concentration in structural engineering. Good academic credentials and prior experience in structural design of building, bridges and underground structures is a plus. 

6. Surveyors  - Project Manager, Party Chief & Instruments Person

Our Survey department has openings for project manager, survey party chief, instrument person, and CADD technician.  Must have prior experience in land surveying including design, ROW mapping, boundary, construction, photo control and GPS surveys.  Must have detailed working knowledge of standard field and office procedures including field equipment/instrument operations and field safety/first-aid procedures.  Project Manager should have minimum 10 years of comprehensive experience in the field of land surveying, must be experienced in managing multiple survey crews and office operation for various public and private sector projects, and be able to effectively manage schedule to maximize survey crew billable time. The party chief and instrument person should have experience in data collection, computer processing of field data, survey computations, field operations, field note reductions and in-depth preparation and interpretation of plans. Party chief and instrument persons must have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.  CADD technicians should have at least 1 year of related CADD experience in surveying and mapping.  For all candidates, prior survey experience in transportation, buildings and other civil engineering design and construction projects is a plus.

7. Resident Engineer in NY and NJ for bridge & roadway construction projects.

Positions are available for Resident Engineers for both New York and New Jersey roadway and bridge construction projects.  For R.E. position in New York, candidates must have a valid New York State P.E. and prior Resident Engineering experience for bridge and roadway construction projects in New York State. Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, NYSTA and NYCDEP, and other public sector projects is a plus.  For R.E. position in New Jersey, candidates must be either a P.E. or NICET level IV with prior Resident Engineering experience in State and Local governmental projects.  Prior experience with NJDOT, NJ Turnpike/ Garden State Parkway, and other public sector projects is a plus.

8. Construction Inspectors with NICET certifications.  

We have immediate openings in both New Jersey and New York for qualified construction inspectors in all NICET levels.  Candidates must have NICET level certifications or possess demonstrated equivalent educational credentials and experience.  Valid construction certifications in ACI, NACE, SSPC, SAT, TCC, CCTC are highly desirable. Experience with bridge and roadway construction projects for NYSDOT, NJDOT, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, NYSTA, NJ Turnpike, and other public agencies is a plus.  

9. Construction Office Engineers with computer and field office experience.

Candidates must have NICET III certification or B.S. degree in civil engineering.  Must have prior experience in performing office engineering duties for roadway and bridge construction projects in New Jersey and /or New York.  Must have good computer, and written & oral communication skills.  Prior experience with public agencies in NY and NJ including NYSDOT, NJDOT, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, NYSTA, and NJ Turnpike is a plus.  Experience and familiarity with NYSDOT’s Computerized Engineers Estimate System (CEES) and Manual for Uniform Record Keeping (MURK); NJDOT’s Automated Construction Estimate System (ACES); and NJ Turnpike’s CapEx system is highly desirable. 

10. CADD Technicians with Microstation and AutoCAD experience.

Immediate openings are available for experienced CAD Technicians in New Jersey and New York offices and project design offices.  Successful candidates must have at least one year of recent experience in computer aided drafting work.  Candidates must have good working knowledge of Microstation V8, and/or latest versions of AutoCAD.  Must have ability to interpret plans and be familiar with civil and structural engineering component of civil engineering projects.  Prior CAD experience in civil and structural engineering design projects is a plus.
